On the annual Congress Meeting 2026 the board, instructors and committee chairs & members gathered to evaluate 2025 and to discuss the perspectives for 2026. Themes such as the accountability 2025, the budgets and forecast 2026, an evaluation of the events 2025 and a planning for 2026, an evaluation of and by the different committees and much more where on the agenda. But also issues like international problems were discussed.
Also on the agenda was the change of name of the non-profit organization ITF-Vlaanderen eV vzw into ITF-Belgium, and the reunification of the two regional associations (ITF-Vlaanderen eV vzw and ITF-Wallonie) into ITF-Belgium, getting back to the situation before 1995, when ITF-Belgium became an umbrella organization. As Belgium has no national ministry of sports, we were ‘forced’ to split mid nineties, but since this was causing confusing and extra work, without having any gains, the Congress decided to get back to one unified non-profit organization.
